Dr. Jay Ramanathan, Executive Director of Arthapedia.zone


Dr. Jay (Jayashree) Ramanathan received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rice University in 1977.  Her previous roles include: Director for the National Science Foundation’s Industry/University Cooperative Research Site for Experimental Research in Computer Systems (CERCS) at the Ohio State University; the Founder and CEO of Concentus Technologies, a high-tech workflow company; an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Ohio State University. She is currently a researcher and an entrepreneur with a focus on applying data science for local good through an open platform for extreme scale collaboration enabling community actions. This includes the integration of service systems science, intelligence extraction for recommendations and the support of community-driven best practices. She is currently working with different types of organizations like smart cities and not-for profits.
