Citizen Four is a 2014 documentary film concerning Edward Snowden and the NSA spying scandal. Edward Snowden was a former CIA employee who copied classified information from the United States' NSA in 2013 without prior authorization. The information revealed global surveillance programs run by the NSA. He copied up to 1.7 million top-secret and above documents, smuggling copies on a thumb drive and releasing many of those documents to the press. This caused a cybersecurity firestorm! How could  the NSA have prevented this from happening, perhaps the most damaging breach of secrets in U.S. history. Those documents were “top secret”, and Edward Snowden was an employee of the NSA. Did he obey some “moral obligation” to reveal this information to the public? Or was he a grandiose narcissist who deserves to be in prison?
